Frequently asked questions

How much does a certified translation or apostille cost?

Prices depend on the language pair, the length and format of the document, the destination country and official fees. Send us your documents and we will reply with a free, fixed quote.

Do I need an apostille or embassy legalisation?

If the country where you will use the document is a party to the Hague Apostille Convention with Singapore, an apostille from the Singapore Academy of Law is enough. Otherwise the document needs legalisation by that country's embassy. Our country pages explain the route.

Which languages do you translate?

English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil, plus more than 40 other languages including Hindi, Bengali, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Arabic and the main European languages.

Can I send documents by email?

Yes. For most translations a clear scan is enough. When originals are needed for notarisation or legalisation, we explain how to hand them over securely.
