Banks, universities, registries and foreign authorities often ask for a certified true copy instead of the original — so you can keep your passport or degree while the copy does the work. For use outside Singapore, the copy normally has to be certified by a Singapore Notary Public, whose notarial certificate is then authenticated by the Singapore Academy of Law with an apostille.
We book the notary appointment, check that your originals and identity documents meet the notary's requirements, add the apostille or embassy legalisation required by the destination country and, if needed, attach a certified translation. Corporate clients can bundle copies of several company documents in one appointment.

Frequently asked questions
Who can certify a true copy in Singapore?
For documents used abroad, certification is usually done by a Notary Public appointed in Singapore. Some local purposes accept copies certified by a lawyer or the issuing institution; we tell you which is right for your case.
Do I need to be present?
The notary must see the original document and, for personal documents, usually your identity document. We coordinate the appointment so you only need to attend once, or we explain alternatives where the notary accepts them.
Can the certified copy be used in a non-apostille country?
Yes. After notarisation and authentication by the Singapore Academy of Law, we submit the document to the destination country's embassy for legalisation.
